What's the climate like for a great retirement at Bristol Village? Sunny! Here in southern Ohio, we seem to get from 10 to 15 percent more sunshine than the northern and eastern parts of the state. Winter isn't usually harsh, with an average snowfall of less than 20 inches—and our campus looks like a greeting card under a fresh blanket of flakes. March and April bring average temperatures in the 50s and 60s—sometimes even 70-degree weather.
Expect typical Springtime variability, from balmy spells to cool, damp days. Summers are normally warm or hot and moderately humid. The average high temperatures in June, July, and August range from 82 to 85 degrees, while nighttime lows seldom dip below 60 degrees. We do get the occasional heat wave—but there's plenty to do on campus in air-conditioned comfort. Our best weather comes in Autumn, with crisp Fall air and brilliant orange and crimson foliage. We enjoy more dry days in September and October than any other time of year. The thermometer goes from an average of 78 degrees in September to 67 in October and 55 in November.
In short, if you love the variety of the four seasons, you're in the perfect perch to enjoy them, here at Bristol Village. Visit us and see for yourself!
